| ### Plant Introduction Polyscias fruticosa (L.) Harms is an evergreen tree or shrub belonging to the genus Polyscias in the Araliaceae family. It has an elegant plant shape with deeply palmate leaves that are bright green and glossy. With high ornamental value, it is suitable for indoor decoration to embellish the space. The plant normally grows in full sun and partial sun conditions, but thrives better in partial sun environments with bright scattered light; the stems and leaves will grow overlong if lacking of sunlight. Highly sensitive to drastic changes in light, so it has to be domesticated before relocating indoors. Fond of warm environments, best placed in warm and airy indoor window sills. ### Care Instructions 1. Light: Prefers bright, indirect light and should be kept away from direct strong light. 2. Water: Keep the potting soil moist without waterlogging, and spray properly to increase humidity when it is dry. 3. Soil: Choose loose, breathable and well-drained humus soil. 4. Temperature: The suitable growth temperature is 18-28°C, and it is susceptible to damage from low-temperature freezing. 5. Fertilization: Apply a dilute liquid fertilizer once a month during the growing period. |
